Assemblyman Michael Torrissi Jr.

Michael Torrissi was sworn in as an assemblyman in January 2022.

Torrissi is the owner of Torrissi Transport, a fuel trucking company based in Vineland with more than 400 trucks and locations across the east coast. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 1996 from Rutgers University-Camden.

Previously, he served as a Hammonton councilman, in 2011 and from 2015 to 2020. He is a member of the Hammonton Lions Club and the Italian Sons and Daughters of America Lodge 123.

A life-long resident of Hammonton, Torrissi lives with his wife Katie and daughter Sophia near where he grew up.
