Assemblyman Jay Webber was elected to his first term in the Legislature in November 2007. The Assemblyman was born in Teaneck, New Jersey and grew up in Clifton. He graduated from The Johns Hopkins University, where he was a baseball team captain and a Second Team Academic All-American in his senior season. After receiving his B.A. in International Studies at Johns Hopkins, Webber served Congressman William J. Martini, and later graduated from Harvard Law School in 2000. He clerked with New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Peter G. Verniero. He and his wife Johanna have three daughters and live in Morris Plains.
