Assemblyman David Rible was elected to his first term in the Legislature in November 2007. The Assemblyman is a former Wall Township Police Officer where his duties included patrolman, hostage negotiator, crime prevention officer and forensic specialist before retiring from active service in 1998. He also is a past president of the Wall Township P.B.A. Assemblyman Rible owns and is president of a Wall Township based locksmith business, Dr. Lock Incorporated, and is 1 of only 29 in the world to hold the title of Certified Forensic Locksmith. The Assemblyman was born and raised in Belmar and now lives in Wall with his wife Jacqueline and young daughter Emilee Grace. He attended Asbury Park High School, Brookdale Community College and Seton Hall University and is a graduate of the New Jersey State Police Academy as well as the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice Academy. Assemblyman Rible was a member of the Belmar First Aid Squad, served as an assistant scoutmaster in the Boys Scouts of America, and served as president of Wall Helps Its People, a non-profit organization helping local citizens in need. He served on the Wall Township Planning Board from 2000-2007. Assemblyman Rible is also a member of the Union Fire Company in Belmar, where he has previously served as President, as well as Captain.
