Assemblyman Polistina was elected to his first term in the General Assembly in November 2007. The Assemblyman is a life-long resident of Atlantic County and was raised in Galloway Township prior to moving to Egg Harbor Township. He is a 1989 graduate of Absegami High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioenvironmental Engineering from Rutgers University in 1993. He received his Professional Engineer’s License in 1999 and Professional Planner’s License in 2000 and is also a Certified Municipal Engineer. He formed the engineering firm of Polistina & Associates in 2003. He is a former Chairman of the Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic League and has been an active supporter of supporter of numerous charitable organizations including the Richard Simon Center for Alzheimer’s at Seashore Gardens, the American Red Cross, the Tom Fabietti Scholarship Foundation, and the American Cancer Society. The Assemblyman resides in Egg Harbor Township with his wife Carolyn and 3 children – Vincent, Dominic and Cole.
