Assemblywoman McHose is serving her second full term in the General Assembly. Alison is the first woman to serve the 24th District and the youngest woman in the State Legislature. She is also part of the first father-daughter team to serve simultaneously in the New Jersey Legislature.
Alison was a legislative aide in Senator Robert E. Littell’s district office for over seven years. Prior to that, she worked for two years as a Policy Council Director in Education & Healthcare for a grassroots outreach organization in Washington, DC. She worked for four years as a political appointee in the first Bush Administration at both the National Endowment for the Humanities, working directly for Chairman Lynne V. Cheney, and the US Department of the Treasury, under Secretary Nicholas Brady.
Alison attended Simmons College in Boston, and graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a B.S. in Government and Politics and a concentration in Economics.
Alison and her husband Morgan have been married for thirteen years and reside in Franklin, Sussex County. They have three children Logan, Grant and Molly.
