Assemblyman Joseph R. Malone, a life-long resident of Bordentown City, has been a member of the NJ General Assembly since 1993.
Assemblyman Malone is currently the Republican Budget Officer, serving on the Assembly Budget Committee, and the Joint Budget Oversight Committee. He is also a member of the Assembly Education Committee, the Higher Education Committee, and is currently serving on the Joint Legislative Committee on Government Consolidation and Shared Services.
As a Municipal Official, Assemblyman Malone was Mayor for 16 of
his 24 years in local office, and also served as the Director of
Public Works.
The Assemblyman is retired from the Somerset County Technology Institute as Director of Post Secondary and Adult Education, and is currently a full time legislator.
Mr. Malone and his wife Valerie have two sons, Joseph and Michael.
