Scott Rudder was elected to his first term in the Legislature in November 2007. He graduated from West Virginia University and started his career working for U.S. Rep. Jim Saxton on military and veterans issues in Washington, DC. Rudder later worked in the Whitman Administration as well as for Speaker Jack Collins in the Assembly Majority Office.
He was on the Medford Township Council from 1998-2008, including serving as mayor from 2005 to 2008.
Rudder has served both his country and community as a member of the NJ National Guard.
He has spent the past several years as a senior manager of Business Development for Lockheed Martin.
Rudder’s proudest accomplishment is being the father of three wonderful children, two daughters and a son.
