Bramnick to trade yuks for charity bucks

Two powerhouse New Jersey politicians will trade punchlines at a comedy club in April to raise money for a legal charity.

Jon Bramnick

Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick, R-Union, and former Democratic Gov. Brendan Byrne will appear at the Stress Factory Comedy Club in New Brunswick as part of a benefit for the New Jersey Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.

Byrne, who was governor from 1974 to 1982, has always been known as a politician quick with a quip. Bramnick was once named “Funniest Lawyer in New Jersey” by the bar association.

The event will be held on April 25. For more information, contact Ben Demarzo at 908-232-2073 or at asmbramnick@njleg.org.
